Happy New Year! It's 2023! January can be a tough month. The holidays are over and we have to return to the grind. If you're in a climate where the days are short and it gets dark early like me, it can be hard to get yourself motivated. January is also home to Blue Monday - dubbed the most depressing day of the year. This can be even harder if you're struggling with low mood or depression.
This month's blog is another VLOG. Check out my Instagram @catherinesullivancounselling all month as I release yoga poses that are good for depression. I will also talk about the concept of behavioural activation and why it's important to use when responding to low mood and depression.
I encourage you to get out your mat (or just use the floor if you don't have a mat) and try some simple yoga poses with me.
