There are two types of yoga poses that are good for anxiety: 1) Inversions and 2) Grounding poses
1) Inversions are any pose where the head is below the heart. The poses I will highlight are:
- Seated Forward Fold
- Standing Forward Fold
- Downward Dog
- Legs up the Wall
2) Grounding poses are any poses where some or all of your body is touching the ground. The poses I will highlight are:
- Easy Seated Pose
- Corpse Pose or Savasana
- Mountain Pose
